Learning Letter
Presenting on "Misery Loves Comedy" was probably my least favorite presentation, but I learned a lot about using images to relay a message more effectively. The next presentation was very straight forward, and really made me reevaluate how I was imagining being a teacher in my mind. It really hit home at this point that I was going to be attempting to instill this information in young minds. The third presentation was honestly fun, I love talking about books I love and showing everyone why reading is great. The content portfolio was a trip down memory lane and for that I am thankful. I began to see the connection between what I've learned and how I'm going to use it. I've heard a lot of cool teaching ideas from my peers this quarter, and I like to think I've come up with a few good ones on my own. My favorite concept from this quarter is from our focus on teaching to non- native English speakers. I really hope that one day I can teach outside of the United...
